DR. ALEX

A native Floridian, Dr. Alex earned his Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Central Florida in 2012. He attended Nova Southeastern University, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2016. Committed to representing his colleagues, he served as the president of his class and executive president of student government for the College of Dental Medicine. As a result of his leadership, he was honored to receive numerous awards, including the prestigious College of Dental Medicine Student of the Year award. Following dental school, Dr. Alex attended a three-year postgraduate residency in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at the Georgia School of Orthodontics.

Dr. Alex is a lifelong learner and stays up to date on progressive orthodontic techniques and procedures. Dedicated to the highest standards of care for his patients, he completed the optional board certification process and is an active Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. In his free time, Dr. Alex enjoys water sports, photography, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

I love the transformation that we see in our patients during treatment. It is really rewarding to see happy patients with beautiful, healthy smiles. My staff and I feel honored to be providing care for Maui’s families, and we enjoy getting to know each patient and their family. I established Conmy Orthodontics of Maui in 1996. I continue to enjoy making a positive difference in people's lives.

I enjoy ocean paddling, and have competed in the Maui to Molokai Paulolo Channel crossing several times. My other hobbies include surfing, windsurfing, mountain biking, gardening, woodworking and traveling. My favorite activity is to hang out with my wife Victoria, and my sons Niko and Sean.
